In the recording, Zimmerman recalled getting out of his car to look for a street sign. He then said Martin jumped out of the bushes and approached Zimmerman saying, “you got a problem, homey?” Zimmerman then claimed to have been punched in the face, knocked to the ground and savagely beaten. He then claimed that Martin constricted his breathing and reached towards his firearm, that’s when Zimmerman drew his gun and fired one shot to Trayvon’s chest.
